Welcome! This is my central hub for all things related to my First Person Shooter and Real Time Strategy hybrid game. I plan on doing everything but program the thing since I lack hardcore coding skills (though I could learn to do that in the future…).

Start Here

Begin by reading the basic description at Google Docs.

Still Interested?

Good, take a look at the collection of models that I’ve posted at Google’s 3D Warehouse. To view the models in 3D, download either the Sketchup Viewer (free) or the free version of Google Sketchup. The viewer is only useful for viewing, while the actual program will let you make changes. I am looking for someone to texture and optimize the models, so if you’re interested, give it a try.

Want to Help?

Take a look at the Google Group I set up.

More

In the future I’ll add some renderings of the levels and whatnot here. Until then, enjoy what I’ve already shared.

OK I’ll start on this one. One of my biggest pet peeves in FPS games is when one side is stacked with all of the best players. What I might recommend to combat this is the points system be taken into consideration when dividing teams at the beginning of a match. That way players who have played the game for a longer time and have shown skill at playing will be heavier on the scale or handicapped to a point so the teams don’t become lopsided in favor of the same group every time.

Remember that suggestions and comments on the game should be contributed to the Google Group I’ve set up. I went ahead and opened comments up to everyone, even if you don’t feel like joining the group you can leave your thoughts (though non-member comments are held for moderation until I approve them).
Go to the link below (I’ve gone ahead and added this idea to the appropriate thread).

Often the computer is expected to emulate a strategically thinking “side” similar to that of a human player (such as directing armies and constructing buildings), or emulate the “instinctive” actions of individual units.
Popular wargames include Warhammer_40,000 or its fantasy counterpart Warhammer Fantasy. Popular strategic board wargames include risk, Axis and Allies, Diplomacy, and Paths of Glory. Advanced Squad Leader is a successful tactical scale wargame is halowars halowars Ultrawars game : Ultrawars rts game , .or Command and Conquer tiberiumalliances

I’m no pro at developing games, but I have experience in Unity and sketch up. What I CAN do is create maps, texturing, terrain, realistic environments and also can do sounds. I make music on the side, check out my sound cloud if interested. I love your models though and I tweaked them slightly and added realistic textures to them. Great work.
